Ingredients

– Water – Kosher salt to taste – 1 lb pasta shells – 1 Red pepper (bell or regular) – 1 Yellow pepper (bell or regular) – ½ cup fresh chives – 1 cup mayonnaise – 1 cup sour cream – ½ cup buttermilk – 2 tbsp white wine vinegar – Pinch of garlic powder – 1 tbsp hot sauce – 8 radishes – 1 Jicama – 2 tbsp dill

Step 1

Pour the water in a pot over medium heat, add the salt and cover the pot. When the water starts boiling add the pasta shells and cook until they get soft. The water should be above the pasta so add some more water if needed. Drain the water and let the pasta to chill. You can speed up the process by washing the pasta under cold water.

Step 2

Chop the peppers into small cubes. Cut the chives into small pieces and set them aside for later.

Step 3

In a bowl mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, hot sauce. Mix the ingredients until they are all well combined.

Step 4

In a big bowl place the pasta, previously chopped peppers, jicama, radishes, chives, dill and the sauce you’ve already created. Stir everything together with a spoon and serve the pasta salad.
