The Classic BLT is a simple yet delicious combination of bacon, lettuce, and tomato, all sandwiched between two slices of toasted bread.
Ingredients – 4 slices sourdough bread – 4 tbsp butter – 1 cup grated mozzarella – 1 tomato – Black pepper to taste – A few leaves of fresh basil
Spread 1 tbsp butter on one bread slice and place the buttered side down. Start layering the sandwich by putting grated mozzarella over the bread.
Add a few tomato slices, a few basil leaves, some black pepper to taste, another mozzarella layer and another bread slice with the buttered side up.
Heat a pan on medium heat, place the sandwich inside, and cook for a few minutes. When the bread gets brown and crispy, carefully flip the sandwich on the other side. Bake for a few more minutes until the cheese has melted.
