Pigs in a Blanket are a classic picnic side dish that have been around for generations.
– 1 package crescent rolls – 6 hot dog sausages – 10 slices american cheese
Cut the cheese into 1/2-inch wide strips. Slice the sausages horizontally lengthwise about halfway through the sausage then fit a piece of cheese inside.
Cut the sausages into 3-inch long lengths.
Place the dough on your working surface and cut it into triangles if it is not sliced already. Take one piece, place one sausage on the wide end and roll it to create a crescent. Repeat the same procedure for the rest of the dough.
Place the crescents in a baking pan previously prepared with baking paper. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes or until they get a nice brown color.
