  • spoon
  • knife

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
  • 6 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1 oz ¼ cup crumbled fresh goat cheese
  • 3 tbsp pancetta or bacon
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped peeled ripe pear
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped pecans toasted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F ( 200°C). Prepare the baking sheet with baking paper.
  • First, with a rolling pin, make the dough as thin as you want, and cut out 30 circles. You can get more or less circles depending on the thickness of the dough. Transfer the circles to previously prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-15 minutes until they get golden brown.
    1 sheet frozen puff pastry
  • Meanwhile you can prepare the filling by cutting the pancetta. Cut the  pear and chop the  pecans. Combine them all together in a big bowl together with the cream cheese, honey, salt and pepper and stir until well blended.
6 oz cream cheese, 2 tbsp honey, pinch of salt, pinch of pepper, 1 oz ¼ cup crumbled fresh goat cheese, 3 tbsp pancetta or bacon, 3 tbsp finely chopped peeled ripe pear, 2 tbsp finely chopped pecans
  • Take one circle of the pastry, add 1-2 tsp of the mixture, and place another circle of pastry on the top to make it look like a sandwich. Repeat the same procedure for all the circles.
