Place the eggs in a hot water and let them boil for a few minutes. Cool them under cold water, peel them and cut them into small pieces.

Pour the eggs in a big bowl together with the mayonnaise, add some salt and black pepper to taste and stir everything with a spoon.

Toast the bread slices for a minute or two until they get golden brown. Add some butter on the bread until it is still warm so it is going to melt.
